THE PRESENT PERFECT TENSE

As we know Present Perfect Tense is a rather important tense in English. In Present Perfect Tense there is always a connection with the past and with the present. There are basically three uses for the present perfect tense:
1. To talk about experiences. It is important if we have done it in our lives or not. It is not important when we did it.
2. To talk about an action which started in the past and continuous up to now.
3. To talk about a past action that has the result in the present.
In this unit you will find the most important uses of Present Perfect Tense, but first of all you will have to check the structure of the present perfect tense for positive sentences, negative sentences, yes/no questions and information questions.
